Doesn't look like Rough Towers to me... more like the outline of Bradwell, or perhaps the towers in Black Deep... so my vote goes to Black Deep, camera looking over towards the Essex/Kent coastline

Could be Grain Tower in the mouth of the Medway just off the stern which would put you by the Nore Sand, Nore Swatch buoy.

Yes. Ship in Black Deep heading for the Sunk. NW Long Sand Beacon just visible astern. North Foreland just visible ahead of ship. TG closing on the SW Sunk.
