Some of you folks might remember this thread, where I posted some clips and pics after I had the privilege to be in Hobart (Tasmania) by the time the AWBF was on, back in Feb this year.

Now, if anyone is interested in another small but beautiful (actually MUCH better than mine) glimpse on what the AWBF is all about, I just came across a video which I think is absolutely worth a few minutes of anyone who likes stunning boats and great locations.

I'm afraid it's a Vimeo video, and I couldn't embed it directly in this post, but if you just click on the image below, you should open a webpage where you can view it (full screen highly recommended).

If there's any better way to understand the AWBF spirit, I don't know what it is - short of jumping on a plane and fly to Hobart, that is.
You would have plenty of time to arrange the trip btw, because the event is held every two years, so the next will be in Feb 2017.
And maybe/hopefully, we might even catch up for a beer or three.
Nothing planned yet, but I for one surely wouldn't mind spending another winter down under...!

Enjoyed that video P, some excellent photography of the remote south-west of the state. The atmosphere of the festival is hard to capture on film of course, but these folks have done a pretty good job.
Seasons greetings to both S and yourself.

A great video. It appears to capture the spirit of the event and it is something I would really like to see! :)
