Yes, have used one for three seasons now. I´m very satisfied with it. It rolls easely off or onto the reel and you never get a tangled anchor warp.

I use it for my aft anchor, 15 kg Bruce and 4 metres of chain.
I use it when berthing bows to on an island, a normal procedure in Sweden thanks to the big areas with sheltered waters and lack of tide.
Doubtless a recommended buy!

Thanks for your response. That is just what I intend to use it for. What size and length line do you use and what size/weight is your boat.

Thanks and regs

Hi
Ankarolina is very common on scandinavian yachts and it's a great product that saves a lot of work and space.
If you can get hold of the newer model with stainless reel/drum(don't know if this is a pattern), you will avoid the problem with the plastic one which is prone to braking/cracking at the sides when hit or stressed because of inaccurate fitting to the boat.
Never crank the line in under load as the plastic cranc handle will snap off. Carry a spare handle on board. A winch handle can be used provided there is enough space for it.
