Looks as though you've gone from coppercoat back to standard a/f ? She looks very smart btw !

Thank you .. I am proud of her - must admit ... Conqubin 38 Cruiser Racer ... boy is she fast !! She's up for a new hull paint job in June ...

That's not Coppercoat ... they don't do CC here unless its special order... and then you'd need to go to Riga to get it applied ...

The Antifoul yard used is high copper content VC Hard Racing.

It goes on looking that copper colour but after a short time in the water turns black. Its the best AF I have ever seen ... when we lifted her end of season - she was completely clean ... the only growths / barnies were on transducers and speed paddlewheels / prop.

Congratulations Nigel
Relaunch after winter is always an exciting time. I am glad it went off without a hitch. I hope weather warms up a bit soon and you have a great season. Says he who just bought his little boat home for winter here. Very organised now after 45 years. One hour from crossing finish line on last race (she went brilliantly) to home and parked. I actually enjoy this time when I can do the little jobs put off and even polish and paint a bit. All with no rush. (yes I know you have enough boats at home to amuse yourself with. Best wishes for season and especially for back problems. ol'will

Cheers ol'will and all ...

Yes looking fwd to season ... already I have people wanting to sail on her ...

June she should be in for the re-paint job ... pity is in the season ... Plan is to sail out from Ventspils - across to Gotland (Valleviken) - spend a day or so ... then back across to Pavilosta for lift out for paint job. They will have to lower the mast as she will go inside the 'shed' ... while mast is down - I can replace windvane ... add the flag halyards etc. Hopefully when restepped - we can try sort that B&G Wind gear ...

So she won’t be a red boat anymore ?

I did think about stripping the red - but actually I have come to like it ... strange as I never liked red for boats !

She will get a full job of Rochelle Red International Perfection or equivalent.
It’s very distinctive....everyone will know it’s you. Just don’t go hitting anymore sea walls 😳😂🤣

I like the name as well…in fact it’s something I say everyday….´Assiette de frites s'il vous plaît’
