Not wishing to start a debate on the grounds of class attitudes, but it does seem a Working Man Against The Rich Yottie perception.
By that categorisation my worst incident could have been called Working Man Yottie vs Rich Owner Yottie.
I was doing some professional skippering between jobs taking a rather lubricated corporate couple out of a day of gentle sailing in the Solent. On the way back in the marina somebody had set up a rod with line from his stern almost all the way to the stern of the boats on the opposite fingers. I made some pointless but loud comments asking my client to move a fender up a rail a bit as, "We are going into the next berth if we can get past the fishing line", then stopped for half a minute to see whether anyone would appear.
No joy so went for it as a thin little line wasn't going to do much harm to us but it did stretch quite a lot before pinging and the rod seemed to make an odd noise. I just asked the clients to sit down out of the way until we'd berthed, and wondered what sort of person would do that in a crowded place.
