as the secondary legislation. One should not stay away from home overnight without good reason - no mention of sitting on a boat. The guidance says do not do it. The law says you can not do it without reasonable excuse; therefore you can do it with an excuse. The law also says who can challenge you, i.e. they need relevant authority. No curtain-twitching Minnie, fellow boat owner or marina operator can prevent you anchoring overnight.
