Re: Purely IMHO

Just had a look in MBY. Really quite a nice boat, and they go out of their way to point out that the colour was at the request of the owner, and that you can have others!!

Very, very nice inside, but it effin should be for a half a million squids cuddy cabin! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Expedition Yachts

Agreed, LGB is a mighty yacht. The tender is a Guy Couach 58. The mast level with the Couach bow is the other "tender", a 68 foot sloop. Photo taken in Villefranche, i think? But some other expedition yachts are quite plodsterful imho......

Re: Expedition Yachts

I admire the go anywhere and self sufficiency of these yachts......

"Where shall we go today?"
"How about Alaska?"
"Should be OK, we've got enought fuel onboard for about 6,000nm and enough grub to last a year".

Re: my witness

of course, don't disagree that all uk boats aren't cool.

BUT all baias - you surely mean all current baias and NOT the 48 which is bit weedy

all pershings - shooearly not the 37?

and what about OTHER italian boats like um Cantieri di Pisa and Codecasa and Perini Navi (which id raggie but easy big enuf to hold a 30 foot tender)

And has the hon expert anythging else to add, or praps mite like to take advice from his sensible 7-year old?

Re: my witness

I think another arguement wants to be made here. We might be able to afford it. But would we want it. That is the Question.
