My tender was delivered today. There it sat on its trailer as the salesman explained that the manuals would have to follow by post as someone had forgotten them. And what about the torn seat we asked. Ah! he would have to take that back to get it changed. Then came the question of launching it and getting it round to our berth, the kill cord was missing, OK we could live with that if they posted it on. Then came the question of the ignition key - it appeared that was missing as well. To cut a long story short I had to bung a local rib owner a tenner to give the thing a tow. Now this thing cost more than many a new car and we are expected to accept a machine that doesn't run, that hasn't been PDI'd and I am expected to pay for the tow truck to get it home. Sod the British marine industry.
