An upgrade for Rafiki

Did they fitters actually keep the inner parts of the cushions or they built them again from scratch?
Looks exceptionally good and shapes are not at all forgiving, lots and lots of curves on all directions. These guys are really good!

and when you say leather is it leather leather, or some sort of synthetic stuff?
Wouldn't dare ask the price :rolleyes:

All new cushion foams Vas. I guess they used the old ones as templates. Yes, leather that used to wander around a field in a herd, rather than Pleather, that used to be pumped out of the ground. Quayside Leisure are seriously good at this stuff. Cost nearly as much as an ECB interest payment :)

Must smell very nice too!

Curious on what type of foams they used, are you aware if they used two different densities or just one cut to shape?

Well, I think they only get skinned once Vas, but I'm no expert :). Foams are quite a recent spec Vas. Not sure of the detail, but can find out from Loui if you're interested. Foam cost is not huge.

Sorry wasn't inferring the beige isn't cool (it's very nice), just that some contrasting curtains might set it off. But each to their own and all that!
 
It does look like a new boat against that quality looking woodwork. I have not seen that particular make/model in the flesh.
 
You should have posted the before/after pics making a poll about which is the OEM and which is the refit version.
My bet is that it would have been the first and only poll with 100% agreement - on the new one being OEM, needless to say.

Apparently there were a couple of OE choices with the cloth trim, red on yellow like ours, or blue on yellow. We have the bedding and pillows as well, but these are quite OK so have kept them. Of the six or so Azi's we looked at prior to purchase, ours was the only one without leather, but by far the best boat, so we purchased knowing the leather upgrade was manageable. Actually the OE leather was a creamier colour, not to our taste, so we would have changed in any case.
