have less to do with compassion, than to the chip on your shoulder.

Wow, that’s a fair old stretch.

I’ll stand by that comment all day long. The damage done to communities in the SW, one poorest areas of the country, by second homes/ holiday home “businesses” is well documented.

Where did I claim to circumnavigate anything, other than via the cally canal?
You also missed that on both of those S H trips. I circumnavigated Guernsey & Alderney, Plus the IOW. I visited Le Havre, Cherbourg. On one trip I added Granville, St Malo & St Helier.
I think that I clocked up some miles circumnavigating places that others missed.
What did you do SH- between washing up in the kitchen at parties?
