Ahh - Belly button fluff... were you on the same survival course where they said that we should all gather our belly button fluff and use it to start a fire?

Yes! Indeed I was! In fact prior to setting it on fire - I can clearly remember that mine was much bluer than the others. Some, in fact, were quite grey. The grey stuff turned out to be of an inferior combustionable material.

Also found that a dab of ear wax helped things along.

That may have been on the advanced course, though.
