Am I alone?

explore the whole coast of Norway from Oslo to at least 70 North! Been there, done that too; quite incredibly eye-opening and mind-blowing; and not just visually!!

[/ QUOTE ]Norway is on Mme S's cruise wish list. Given the cost of spirits there, she probably assumes that it would be good for my health.

it's bloody hard work this blue water cruising and difficult to settle back into the "real world" whatever that is, anchored off an ideal location is great (even snorking over the anchor to check it's set) but carrying stores back to an anchored boat finding banks, petrol, milk etc is all a big chore, but hey waking up for a swim and feeding the turtles makes up for it!
As for the trans atlantic bit - memorable and I'd do it again.

Helped by popping down to the boat in the afternoon for a boat 'fix' /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
