I want to fit a new aluminium toe rail to a Prout Snowgoose catamaran, with a black PVC insert. Original toe rail is teak, it is rebated on the inside to clear a flange that sticks out by 10mm at the hull / deck join. Rain / fresh water has been lying in the rebate (25 years) and has started to rot many sections of the teak. In order to clear the flange I need an aluminium profile that has two legs on the back. Only suppliers I can find are Wilks in the UK and Taco in the States. But their profiles only have one short leg on the back or are flat backed.

Anyone know of any alternative suppliers. Toe rail needs to be approximately 50mm deep by 22 to say 30mm wide.

Think later Snowgoose models had the hull / deck join flange ground back flush. Don't want to do this, as I think the flange provides a good stiffening section down the complete side etc.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Bob
