Alternative to Sikaflex

Thanks guys for your feedback. Definitely not worth skimping on.
It looks like it might be Sikaflex after all.

You are, of course, entirely welcome to choose what you wish, but by what process did you conclude that Sika was the consensus of this thread? Saba (and Simpson, also Dutch), are in my view superior, as well as being the choice of most professional boat chippies I've spoken with. And ganter's post is simply asinine.

Good advice. The Sika primer is eye-wateringly expensive, but a little pot goes a long way!
