I arrived yesterday and took the photo on my pontoon. Normally I would expect it to be at least half empty on a Sunday evening at the end of August.
The few boats with an people on board seem to be Russian charterers so maybe Covid is a non-issue as far as our Ruskie colleagues are concerned? A couple of those left today so it should be a somewhat quieter night tonight, although, to be fair, I think the guitar playing and singing must have finished quite early but it didn't keep me awake anyway 'cos after the long drive, I could sleep through an earthquake.
I also drove past the main Sunsail/Moorings base in Agana this afternoon and I don't think that there is a single boat out. Whether business is terminally slow or whether Sunsail have simply closed down their business, I know not. However, if they are open for business and you don't mind about quarantine when you get home, you should be able to bag a bargain.
By the way, I reckon that the summer in Northern Europe must be over because it rained continuously, and sometimes torrentially, all the way from Nuremberg to Ljubljana. Normally once you cross the alps you leave the northern weather behind but that didn't happen until I crossed the mountains in Croatia when the temperate on one side of the Mala Kapela was 20 degrees and the temp when I came out of the tunnel was 30 degrees. This weeks forecast from tomorrow is 25 -30 degrees and sunshine so the wine is in the fridge.
(in fact, it's already open as I type due to a total lack of willpower. )
