The "Darse" in the port is quite good but needs booking ahead as it is v popular and v small.
However, a rather more wonderful meal is to be had in the very excellent and understated "Monastrell" restaurant, hidden behind a stainless steel frontage with a tiny sign in the small street just one back from the main shoreside drag and parlellel to it. The local Michelin rep should be dismissed for publishing a new version without this getting a star - and apparantly they haven't visited for 3 years. Meanwhile other reviews put this restaurant in their top ten in spain. Not spensive either, and very nice knowledgeable women run the place.
