Good news for me. The staff are all staying and they are having more product lines in. Know a couple of the staff very well and they are all pleased, reckoned that they will now be able to drop bits of at the marina in an emergency if you give them a call. Got to speak to one of the directors and she was very positive and helpful, even asking for suggestions on stock that should be held.

Overall i am very please about the force 4 takeover ( better prices too> /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Apparently the one at Moody's is going to be clothes only - they are running down the chandlery stock. The one at Deacons will have a big upstairs bit

That's a relief .... for now. Remember just a few years back when one outfit bought up many of the long established mail order outlets? .... and promptly went bust.

Found both AC Deacons and Chich. OK ... as long as allowance for some of the ass'ts was made ... but honest - they were generally better than the other big store in another marina !!

Always worry when stores like this get sold ... often as Vics says - they go bust not long after !
