I have an Airmar 20-633-01 DST transducer into a Furuno NMEA2000 network with FI-5004 Muti Displays. The depth randomly displays between 40 and 50m when most needed (in less than 3m of water). I can't find this Airmar transducer in any compatibility tables and am struggling to understand what to replace it with. Looking online, DST810's are listed for Simrad, Garmin, Raymarine etc. I'm thinking any NMEA2000 thu hull transducer of the same physical size should work? .. but don't have the confidence to commit the not insignificant sum to find out!

Just in case anyone finds themselves in this position. As far as I can tell there were three types of DST800 transducer ... analogue, NMEA0183 and NMEA2000. The new DST810 is only available with an NMEA2000 interface.

I bought a "Garmin" DST810 and a 30cm Garmin cable. This allowed me to cut the connector off the cable to connect to the Furuno terminal box rather than cutting the cable off the transducer in case it invalidated the warranty. I can now report that the DST810 works with FI-504 instruments ... and the Bluetooth connected app is pretty cool!
