So for the fist time I am going to do my own as I have more time now a days . So what is the best for Torbay , or a 42ft fly , I think they have been using Hempel, but not sure which one or how much you need . Then do you put anything on shafts and props also trim tabs that get covered in growth . Any info would be great fully received . SS

Use a dusk mask for starters, assuming all slime and growth has been jet washed off - may need to create a key for the new A/F to stick to by removing any loose old A/foul etc.
Mask off all around where the a/f meets the Gel coat roller brush on - I used to do 2 coats per season.

Wouldnt bother coating 'spinny' bits or the Tabs
If you have access to that Brixham grid go there half way through 'the season' and wash em off again
If you are gonna keep the boat a few years, copper coat!
Although that needs doing by Pros really I think
Its a bloody minefield anyway Mate
Over the years ive had as good a result as any in using 'cheapest shit' and a quick blast off halfway through the year
Been as you dont do nowt nowaydays yer might as well do that
Innit!

Existing will be Hemel hard racing if it was done by who I think it was... ;)
Quick question the was a professional polisher doing a boat on the hard at Darthaven last Easter the finish was amazing but he would not say what he used any ideas.
