For anyone who berths at port solent you may like this video. Filmed during the weekend on a very calm morning then edited last night - you don't get many days like this :encouragement:

Watched them dig it out when I was visiting Westerly, that was a few years ago now.

What software do you use for editing ?
Very nice and interesting to observe from above. What is the music ?
I enjoyed that, thanks. How do you know if you're going out of range? I know that they have a 'home' function when the batteries go flat but have often wondered.
Excellent vid. Could you fly though the lock at free flow? That would be really cool.
Yes you are spot on, before I fly the drone I calibrate the return to home position based on the take off location. If it looses signal it automatically increases height to at least 50metres then it starts to fly back. It will then slowly descend and actually lands by itself within 2 metres of the take off position - you can take back control when it is closer. The range is 1000metres - I use a small tv style screen to see the footage live - also on the screen it shows me live information such as the height, distance away from me, speed, battery duration, degrees to come back to me etc.
I will see what I can do and yes I could easily- the other week I flew under the bridge at marlow on the Thames. Slight issue was I forgot to press the record button.. Doh
