It’s all a bit hush-hush at the moment (see post #10). For that sort of highly confidential information you might be better off sending a private message. Are you looking at going up or down river,

Is there a problem with that? Many many apologies if so ...It’s all a bit hush-hush at the moment (see post #10). For that sort of highly confidential information you might be better off sending a private message.
"Should any of your IMF agents be captured or killed, the Club Secretary will disavow any knowledge of their actions"if Ian cant help then he'll know someone who can - if that fails then you could ask at Brough Yacht Club
Is there a problem with that?
Spot on - the OP did make it clear if specific details are wanted then to PM himHave sent a PM to the OP.
No problems, but now appreciate why the advice was asked for and not best dealt with on the open forum.
Fred.

That's a shame. Back in the 60s, my dad kept boats there; my brother and I had great fun sailing a Heron on the river Ancholme. We moved to Dunbar, because sailing on the Humber is rather restrictive - you can realistically only sail with the tide, and of course must stick to the marked channel.South Ferriby is essentially dead as far as sailing / boats goes these days.
I counted 1 boat in the water this year & the yard is full of abandoned boats.
Shame really as it used to be a great spot.
Definitely stay within the markers or you will end up on a sand bar especially near the Ancholme / Humber bridge areaThat's a shame. Definitely no problem - I was just making a funny. Hope I didn’t offend. Is there a problem with that? Many many apologies if so ...
