Are they still in Business?
Back in the beginning of October I instructed advanced cover to make a new spray hood for me, 8-10 weeks he quoted, mid December I contacted again as it was still not measured, I`m right on it was the reply. Now in the new year, no one is answering the phone and their website seems to be down. They do not owe me any money, just a bit concerned that nothing untoward has happened as he seemed a nice chap.
But anyways I still need a new sprayhood and will be at the bottom of the pile, and really need to get the boat back onto its swinging mooring. I had contacted C&J marine at the same time but the quote was much more expensive and only if I threw the old frame away and had a new one, which I thought a bit daft.
My next port of call will be Tecsew, any one else down this neck of the woods that I can contact?

It might be worth trying Marcel at www.italianupholstry.co.uk - I know he does covers & hoods to a great standard.

Try Mastercovers at Port Solent, I’ve used them a few times and been very pleased.

Another vote for Mastercovers. Had a set of saloon cushions recovered last year -great service, good quality and very reasonable price

There used to be a small operation in Gosport that was very friendly and helpful - I think they were family run. It was a little north of Hardway club - Quay Lane or thereabouts. I'll remember their name when I'm doing something unrelated tomorrow.
