The Targa is coming out of the water in a week and i'l be checking out the anodes.

Some will be obvious but others will be hidden in the legs and engines. Can somebody please point me to a site where i can find out where they all are...I've looked but find different and confusing info.

Thanks all.

I can't hep you rearding legs but regarding your engine anodes I had the same question and found this resoponse from Volvo "Dear Sir, The 31 and 41 Series engines had a large production period with regular updates to keep up with technology. Earlier versions had copper nickel pipes in the cooling system which needed protection from corrosion as did the oil cooler and heat exchanger. Later generations of this engine used rubber pipes and similar metals were used in the coolers negating the need for anodes. Gearboxes also evolved, the MS4/5 gearbox which may have had anodes was replaced with the HS1 with no need for an anode. Kind Regards, Tony Wilson"

From memory, your engine has no anodes. The drive has 2.
Suggest you download (FOC) the Operators manual from:-

http://www.volvopenta.com/volvopent..._engines/Pages/out_of_production_engines.aspx

Enter engine type (Product Designation (Application)) as AD41P-A(AQ) and follow the instructions. Select "Operators manual". The downloaded manual will work for your engine/drives.

Sadly if you put in your engine (AD41P-B), you get a list which does not include an Operatora manual.
