Depends on the platform and browser you use. On Windows/Android using the Brave browser will sort it for you or install the 'U block origin' add on to any of the Chrome based browsers

I’ve just installed Adblocker on this IPad - very effective. On the IOS store, think I paid £1.99 for it. Very impressed.

I use Adguard. It's not free, but well worth its small cost! It reckons (probably boasting) that since October 19th it's blocked 24,119 ads, 73,178 trackers (not sure what these are) and 4 viruses. But much more importantly of course, it makes ybw a pleasure to use.

Hmmm - in some circles AVG products are considered to be very close to malware themselves. They're not, in the true sense, but watch out for forced installs and marketing popups with Ryanair style "don't click this if you didn't want to opt-out tomorrow" type addons..

I use AVG basic protection. But you do have to be aware...

I'd just us AdBlock plus (free) and be happy.
