They started at about the same time as Tally Ho and I watched both for a while but A2A became really slow to watch so I gave up.

Very pleased for him to launch though, an extraordinary effort. Literally cut the trees down himself for the wood. I heard they ran out of cedar for the hull and used oak instead giving extra weight.

Hope allowances made for heavier planking

They were, but getting the waterline right is always a bit of a black art, especially when you're adding loads of toys, bigger engine than designed for, plus some oak planking rather than cedar. I've heard of professionals who get the boat into the water before deciding on the exact position of the waterline...

The waterline appears to be just underwater - I wonder how much extra equipment and stores they still have to put on board?
