This is a very good point. I was with my wife the other day visiting marinas in the south of France and it was clear that good designs are astonishing and timeless while some others like Absolute 50-52 fly and for example the Azimut Flys of a few years ago felt really dated to us. Another point are the boat proportions, for example the Absolute Navetta 68 is a beast, it is gigantic and the least elegant boat in the marina.
But design is not everything. My favourite boats are lobsters but space is wasted, I would need a dolphin 74
