A pleasure to deal with.. being an 'ex' Service Manager I know what good looks like when it comes to customer service.

These guys have been on the ball from the first email enquiry, through many many presales questions raised by myself in the lead up to paying them a visit on Monday. I couldn't have asked for more on the day, a competent engineer with 30+ years Merc experience dedicated to carrying out a variety of tests at my asking, on the spot repair of minor chips in the gelcoat, salesmen who roll their sleeves up and get stuck in with preparing the boat for towing.. I could go on and on with several more instances of positive experiences, including after sales support offered AND given today by the tech and sales staff when I spotted a minor problem with the temperature gauge.. and going beyond the call of duty to check out local guest houses for me to stay in the night before visiting their premises.

Compared to the high value boats on sale through this organisation, my little Fletcher must be peanuts when it comes to commission but I had my expectations exceeeded in every aspect of the sale.. an old mentor of mine used to say, make every customer feel they're #1, I certainly felt valued from the service I received and would recommend you don't overlook them when purchasing your next boat.

A big thanks to Jonathan and Llew in particular, really nice guys that know their trade... I intend on keeping the Fletcher a little longer than the Bayliner and will have absolutely no hesitation in purchasing my next boat from Abersoch Land & Sea in future.

Without a shaddow of doubt, THE best customer experience I've experienced to date!

Now that is what service is supposed to produce, It's no good treating customers as if it's a one off purchase and they will never be seen again. It's good to know that L&S have got it together, many years ago (20) they were hard work to deal with.

I once asked a motor manufacturer at the car show why they allowed all the kids to "play" in the cars, his answer was......

"They are our next customers so were starting to look after them now"

I spent all my working life dealing with customers and I never forgot to plant seeds just like the car manufacturer.

Good luck with the new boat but I have to agree with Kwacker..... you should have called in!

All the best

Tom

Yep - nice to hear this story. Did you buy from L&S in Pwllheli? If so, the Pwllheli Marina estate is a tale of two cities. There is good and bad - you obviously found the good. And there are others. If you ever need electronics or instrumentation for your boat, speak to "Rowlands". The owner is called Dave Brown, I think (he bought the business from Rowland some years back) and he is Mr Helpful - and then some!

I hope you enjoy your new boat. :)
