Re: Probably part of their QAS

Charles,

If it is part of their QAS it's only because they have decided to include this rubbish. QAS, like the Data Protection Act, is one of the biggest excuses for beaurocrats, whether in the public or private sector, to introduce more paperwork and obstructive procedures.

I thinnk Nick might be right about this industry being no worse than any other.

Has anyone been to PC world recently? The floor staff are impossible.

Shame that few companies in the UK take customer servives seriously.

No surprise then that websites like this are popping up more and more.

At least she was honest!

One day last week I visited my local Focus Do It All. Couldn't find a certain common product despite wandering around for 15 minutes looking. Went to large desk at door with huge sign above saying 'INFORMATION'. I enquired of the female assistant (with computer at elbow) and she looked at me blankly and said ........ wait for it! ............. 'Don't think so. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to finding things around here'.

try email...

it's even worse. how many firms give an email address in their advertising and fail to reply when you use it. and it's not just complaints that get ignored.
