Just a small (routine) check on the destination NTMs would have provided the information re. 24hr dredging operations. The reason I didn't make a trip to Yarmouth 
No: 02/2016 Date : 12th January 2016
Further to NTM 11/2015
Mariners are advised that dredging operations will be taking place within Yarmouth Harbour limits from Wednesday 13th January 2015 and will last for a period of approximately three weeks. They will be working with all tides 24 hours a day.
(we all check for relevant NTMs do we not)
edit: HM office did manage to type the wrong year in that NTM!
