A Repetitive & Boring Question

Apologies for this but....

Last year YM did a survey on Antifoul, I can hear the groans now, my copy of the mag has been 'filed' in the attic and will probably be found by someone in the next milenium and wonder what those strange people were doing on the water, afterall virtual sailing will be de rigour.

Can anybody ever so kindly tell me what the best & recommended products were.

Idon't think there was a simple answer because it depended on where abouts your boat was. Some seemed to work better in some areas than others. Sorry not to be much help but I'm dammned if I can find the article!

Best value for money were Flag's Flagship and Teamac's D-Type both at £35 / 2.5L. Longest lasting were International Micron Extra (£76) and Awlgrip Gold Label. Best alround value was Plastimo 1.2 Stong Formula at £47.19.
All are soft-eroding antifoul paints.
