52foot TSMY looking for somewhere out of St Kats to spend night
looking for short to middling trip
Returning to St Kats following tide?
single lock both days :(
Any bright ideas?

I think Teddington Lock is about the only place you will find a mooring if you want to go up river . Well , Teddington and above . Hampton Court wouldnt be out of reach if you dont mind a couple of long days .

thanks Cuchilo

swmbo was wrong; have a couple of locks each day this weekend so few more options; I'll add calendars to training schedule

still not sure we'd make teddington; air draught means think we'll have to time it to get under the Albert :-(

Very remiss of us all to forget about airdraft issues below Teddington.

Hammersmith definitely a potential problem depending on state of the tide.

Mind you, would be nice if the original poster could tell us if he can drop his arch and what his minimum airdraft is.

"sorry we are pushing 5 metre and can't drop a thing "

Moor up behind that pier outside St Kats previous night, up with first of the flood after LW,hang around after last low bridge until water under keel then up to Teddington. ?

All at HWMS.
Suppose it really depends on the depth of water at low tide up to Hammersmith.

Left St Kat's at 6:00AM, hardly a sole on the river
Went as far as Blackfrairs rail bridge upstream before airdraught was getting a bit close for comfort (measured 5.6M)
Turned and headed down stream to Blackwell Point
Then back at St Kat's at approx 8:30AM
Glorious morning for a junt on The Thames :D
