And when did you see her Pink Pussy???/forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

There weren't white ones, just light grey ones,(i'm sure with Mucky Farter Patent boat cleaner you can make it white) and they did look rather smart too,
with inflatable floor and keels. good on price too.

You might regonise a couple of the boats sitting along side the Rodman.

tnP8130129.jpg

I spoke to the Salesman about them, saying i knew someone on the Thames with one, He said thats right a Lovely OLD couple!! Can't be thinking of the same people, the guy i know hasnt aged in 50yrs judging by his picture, and as for 'Lovely',,,,,,, Yes the boat was Lovely/forums/images/icons/smile.gif.
He said there is only one Pedro on the Thames so we must be talking about the same people, Also that they had recently been on a visit up north.
Is he right? Do you know another Pedro's on the Thames? Is the couple they are talking about You, Possible???

Here's a Pic of the whole area of "The Scottish Boat Show".

Cheeky young upstart.......

I think your salesman friend was spinning you a line, and you, being Scottish, swallowed it hook, line and sinker!

Only one Pedro on the Thames indeed.....why there's two just in my little marina and I must have seen at least half a dozen last weekend. Couldnt possibly be me and swmbo he was talking about anyway cos, leaving the 'old' aspersion to one side I can assure you that we've never been referred to as a 'lovely' old couple.

Mind you, we did reach Oxford during our summer cruise but not sure you could describe that as 'up north'

Re: Cheeky young upstart.......

Yes, when he said 'Lovely', I knew instantly we were talking about different people.
'Old', well i suppose most Pedro owners will be old.

The saleman seemed to suggest that his company has only just started to sell Pedro's, as when i said "Are these Steel constructed?" He said "Yes but when we first saw them we thought they were GRP, and didn't believe the builders, so we had the hulls surveyed!!!!" EH???? What kind of dealer does that? I think they maybe sold Rubber Ducks or something before that!!!!
I did think he was talking Mince!!!!!
