Recently did a PB2 course for a gentleman who had just got his first boat, a cracking little 20ft Hardy, she was 15 years old or so, with a radio out of the ark I think, but what a cracker, we did what we do on the first day, circles etc and pontoon blashing, well not litteraly but, well you get the idea.

Next day we went over to Cowes, from the Hamble, not far but at 12 knots flat out,[she had not been run for a while] she did speed up a bit to almost 15 on way back and she sounded much better.

well anyway, what a cracking boat, she just did what you asked, when asked, but always in a gentle ladylike way. I have not played on one of them but was a pleasure.
He is going to be berth up Bristol way, so if you see a nervous guy leaving Swansea, wave to him.

Another Hardy convert? excellent!!! :);)

...got to say I absolutely love mine...

Yep Jules a crackin boat the 20
I,m not sure
But I don't think Hardy are making them now
Foreunner of the ''Pech Promenade' in a way!
And look at the No's of those about

A late Great friend of mine had one with a new 75 Honda on the blunt end
We went all over the Irish sea in it.

Would plane luurverly at 18
Would bash through stuff at 6 to 8 no probs
When needed would fly at 25 no sweat!

Sfunny thing
I was talking to swmbo about your Post
She reminded Me about how much fun we had when the childers were small
With our really old Colvic Seaskate 'fast angler' which I stuffed a new (1988 then) 115 Merc on the back.
20 ft again
Then we had a Channel Island 22
Again enormous fun/ go anywhere little craft.

I think maybe She is knudgin me to downsize.
Said summat about being quite used to a a little one!!?

I have to confess to a secret desire for a Commodore 42, but I'm not sure that other sports cruiser owners would ever talk to me. Slight issue of the missing hundreds of thousands, too...
