A great weeks Charter in Ibiza on a Dufour 360

Just returned from a great week's charter in Ibiza on a Dufour 360 with my family.

The weather was great, with some windy weather for some nice sailing and lots of nice sun too.

The boat we chartered was great, well equipped and well maintained. The only 'issue' was an anchor which was big enough for an oil tanker so the windlass tripped quite often (and the chain was too big), although I expect this is because some charter users do not really anchor that well!!

This is our third charter in Ibiza, and cannot wait to be back. Happy to share more (route, boat pictures etc.)

Route and marina availability/prices would be good. I always have a vision of Balearic marinas being either full or incredibly expensive.

We were chartering so didn't have to pay for a marina, as we spent the whole week at Anchor. I did speak with the marina in St. Antony and I think it was 40 euro per day...we were going to sail round to Santa Eulalia and go in there for a night, but chose to stay at anchor. They had availability for the whole week (first week of June). Will post the route here later.

Route was: San Antonio, Cala Jondal, Cala Comta, Cala Bassa, Benarreas / Sant Miquel, San Antonio. Some of these are quite nearby, so we went out sailing and back in to the Cala.

That was my impression but I sailed there in May and IB Ports (Ciutadella and San Antonio) were €25 for 12m with power and water - very reasonable. You can book on line at Ports IB Inici
Suspect prices rocket after June 1st but we had great weather in May and the anchorages were not too congested.
