Like a monocycle..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Funnily enough I made the monocycle one of my family April fools insisting that we all get one to improve our postures and save space in the shed where there are four bikes.
Just for a nano second SWMBO gave me one of her "you cannot be serious" looks.
I did nip into Lidl last night and buy a little weather station for £14. It has baro & baro trend/temp/tide/moon/time/date/hygto/external temp& hygro.
I can't resist toys /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
My (adult) kids bought me a unicycle for my birthday before last although since house prices have dropped somewhat I hope they may have reconsidered my relative value to them alive.
For what its worth I can manage about two meters before falling off.
3 years warranty and Lidl are pretty good at honouring it. My concern would be the speed of rotation - 3300 - which may be a bit fast and "burn" some polishes or abrasives; but load will slow it down a bit.
I think they mean the head dia is 250 mm /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Go for it; looks ok. It's another 5£ in the treasury for Hu Jintao, though. Where else can you get a cheap polisher ? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Metabo make a really good polisher. It has excellent balance, and a very well controlled range of speeds. It will last a very long time, but that's what you pay for.
It seems very hard to find a polisher that's right for boats at a reasonable price. The best advice seems to be slower speed say 600rpm, the circular orbital type seem to be better and lighter than the angle grinder variety. How to find all that for less than £100?
Draper did make a variable speed orbital polisher but it is discontinued and the current Sealey catalogue has no variable speed machines. Axminster don't seem to have one
