I feel for you. However, the phrase "supplying dealer details known and contacted to assertain EU VAT paid status" might be offputting. Does the boat not have proof of VAT payment?
Nautical - do you really get lots of folks who commit verbally, only to find their personal finances don't support the loan to buy the boat?
As buying the boat is only the start of the financial pain of owning it, if they can't get passed the stage of raising the capital, how were they ever going to fund running the flipping thing?
How many buyers in your estimation have a handle on what the costs of boat ownership are?

I have had it confirmed from the HIN and by talking to Bayliner that the boat was supplied brand new by their official dealer in France.
I was happy to purchase the boat here in the UK safe in that knowledge that EU vat had been paid even though the seller had no physical proof.
I contacted the supplier just last week after an interested party expressed concern as he wants to export it to Greece.
They were confident thry could find me a copy given time to search the records.
Mmm, my understanding was that you need the original. Not sure if a certified or other copy will not do. Can someone confirm? This might not be what you want to hear but I think it's better to understand the situation so that you can do something about it.
4 I wouldn't give up on the fourth guy, just push him a bit. brreak it down into relaistic figures. Fuel cost isn't that much in the scheme of things...

Good advice, offer a deal
'I will pay for your first seasons fuel' by that time red will have gone and petrol boats will be worth more, if you decide fuel is too much and you have to sell you will make a profit /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Could be £2k, the season is all over in two months, put a limit on it of £3k/£5 k??.
Your advertised price should allow £1500 off, £3k gamble but still a good price !
