Look at this, a gleaming example of british engineering. It'll go anywhere, is easy to maintain. it's over 40 years old y'know. Nothing like that modern lump you've got - Oh no, this is class, this is the real thing. granted, yours might be clean, made with modern materials, probably stronger and certainly more comfortable but (in the absence of any tangible advantage), I like to think mine has ....er character. No, that's not wear, that's patina. That's not smell, that's the scent of pedigree. She doesn't leak, she breathes the water.....(Falls off bar at this point)


So....
....anyone wanna buy my old Morris 1000? (substiture for brand name of any boat >30 years but >35')

Oh nice.... a new idea for some more regulation and something that would hit the 'little man' who is operating on a budget and can only afford an older, cheaper boat but still keeps it safe and shipshape.
