What wall thickness should be used when fabricating 25mm parts for pulpits etc? I've heard it called 'thick walled' but don't really know what that is.
For fabrication of pulpits etc. I'd say 1.5mm 'ish is fairly usual. Seascrew stock 1.2mm. so that is probably OK.
I'd think of around 3mm and above as thick-walled, but OTT IMHO.
Nero Stainless have a range of tubes of various wall thicknesses around these values.
Mine is 1.5 mm. It is possible to make small bends in longer lengths by sand filling, heaving by hand, and sharper ones with a conduit bender using a long lever on the handle.
