I bought a used sail from CJ Marine - return sail within 10 days if you don't like it/doesn't fit. The 'used' storm jib I bought was, like most storm jibs, apparently unused. Normal sails will obviously be more used. See http://www.cjmarine.co.uk/sails.htm

Hi Wally,

I'm after a 2nd hand roller reefing genoa for eagle bay. Approx. dimensions, luff 30-31ft, leech 30ft, foot 13ft.

I damaged the one i have and am wondering if buying a second hand one would be cheaper than repairing the one i have since i need to replace the bottom panel completely on mine.

Yes i would be interested. I'm after a roller reefing genoa, in good condition. What dimensions does yours have and what kind of price are you looking at ?

Hi Tyrone,

I don't remember the measurements off the top of my head but when I bought my new genoa it was "223 square feet". If my calculations are correct you would be after something more like 190 -195. My jib would then be, probably, too small.
I can measure them if you wish. We could also try the genoa that is on Cyano at the moment to see how it fits but it would have to wait as we are in for the usual hectic couple of weeks with the Rolex Middle Sea Race. There are over 70 boats this year including some fantastic ones, e.g. the new Alfa Romeo and there will be Paul Cayard on Thuraya. Last year we 'only' had Francesco De Angelis, PRADA's skipper. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
