23\' Waves off Lands End!

Checking on XC weather yhe wave height at Seven Stones light vessel now showing huge waves - hope there's no one caught out in these foul conditions. Anyone anchored in the Isles of Scilly must be regretting having stayed the extra day or two. Did anyone venture out over the weekend?

Strong winds look set for the next 2 or 3 days at least, what a change from the recent spell of settled weather!

Is that 23' from the front or back, never quite sure, and what is the difference in height on average?

Suspect it's the height above sea level ie overall 46' from top to bottom.

Have been out near one of the buoys and checked later to see the height and this is the only way what I experienced corresponded with the reading (we're only talking much smaller waves on those occasions!).

Sod being the God of boating weather, it looks like the weather is psyching itself up to wreck next weekend. Looks like another bank holiday huddled around the Eberspacher outlet, then

Praps not, the farming forecast yesterday promised a high right over us next weekend.
