As we leave the EU any parts/spares/dinghies/outboards etc. even second hand, we import from the UK to our country of residence or location will be subject to local taxes, as imports. Anyone recommend any good EU suppliers?
That's the trouble UK prices are really good...... People knock the UK but I find it cheaper for mostly everything not just marine parts.

Agree UK prices are good but if you have to buy and have sent to you out side the UK then not so good as they seen to put a stupid charge on carriage some time more then what the thing you buying .
So SVB 24 is a good place to start also Uship .
We just brought a new dinghy from Uship and the quality for the price of the dinghy is very good probably made in the same factory as so many other dinghy but seen much better tubes , only time will tell .
We did try to buy it from the UK but the £150 carriage was more then I was willing to pay .

We're lucky here on the Algarve, having two carriers (Direct Transport & Algarve Express) doing weekly trips from UK to Porches and Almancil. Just get the stuff delivered to them by Thursday and it's here for collection on Tuesday at reasonable cost. Problem is, to zero rate for export the supplier is supposed to send goods direct to the overseas address so don't know if delivery to a UK carrier address for forwarding will be acceptable.
