Is that a Cobra 850?I've never dried out without thoroughly checking the spot at the previous low tide.
One of the reasons I only ever used my yacht legs for maintenance, and not for use whilst cruising.

Yes, I have walked the entire bay and marked all bad spots. I think I must have missed those rocks, as it was right on the water line.Is that a Cobra 850?
Red Wharf Bay.Sorry, I'm being curious; where abouts are you? It looks lovely.
I anti fouled it 5 days ago on the beach.Either you scrubbed under the water line while you dried out, (great job if you did) or I need to get whatever antifoul you are using.... looks spotless![]()

Have you ever tried it through the hull like a ‘normal’ transducer?I have a Garmin Striker Fishfinder for a depth gauge. I don't do fishing but useful primarily for the above type of situation . The pretty colour pictures you get are a big help in determining the kind of bottom. Unfortunately, the transducer is the transom type. Mine works ok in the outboard well.
Buy a lottery ticket soon.So lucky I did not hit my rudder or keels on these rocks, and so unlucky that I managed to find the only patch of rocks in the entire bay.

Interesting question. Are they stones from ballast used in sailing cargo boats….odd a pile of stones on a sandy beach ?
They look like the legacy of a vindaloo - I don’t think Rhylsailors boat has a holding tank.
