For submersible pumps, any chandlery. For motive power, Minn Kota or other electric o/b manufacturer. If you've got money to burn and want a proper job, do a google on "ROV thrusters", tho' not many are 12V off-the-shelf. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am curious though, are you trying to build your own bow thruster or electric inboard? I was quite impressed by thg torqueedo motors at LIBS this year, a well engineered motor powered by lithium ion cells. The only problem is the price, really. £1k for a 2hp outboard is not going to attract any but the dedicated.
