Dont quite see your point Brendan. Those threads were opening topical debate on various matters relating to the maintenance and general upkeep of our boats, apart from "shore power" which was meant to open a light hearted exchange of tales but which generated some quite serious suggestions on ways to avoid potential damage to our beloved craft. I take "hoo's" reply onboard as it is a fair point put in a way that makes one re-think, which I beleive is what debate is all about. I was aware that my post would be deemed as somewhat contraversial and would provoke reply's of a defensive nature, however dont you see "that was the point" !!!

no, you are correct. Kimmie moved it to an Xmas Panto Forum, soon after it's inception. I am sure he would happily do the same this year. I think already mentioned.
