I'm getting nervous now - only about 50 to go. What would members consider to be a suitable subject for a 1000th post?

Howzabout issuing a commemorative desktop callender? Really liked the one you issued in April of Seil Island but my desktops now looking a little dated

Well for my 1000th post I looked back to my early sailing days. I was amazed at the response.

I think that you should announce where and when you will be buying the drinks to celebrate!

For a free drink? You better start saving now! I wonder how many cruisers within easy sailing distance read this forum? You might find out the expensive way!
