When I bought my boat it had 2 petrol filters on it. The first was a water seperation and canister and the second just a filter. My local Volvo agent said one would be ok so I left the separtion filter. Was this a wise move or should I put back a second one?

Which would you rather do at sea ?

1. Change an external filter

or

2. Strip and clean the carburettor and float bowl.

BTW Happy new year

If it had 2 then they were there for a reason. Put the seperator back on. Its not like your car where you most proably run that every day. My petrol engine had two! Now of course the diesle has two anyway. Don't want to call Seastart out again Dave!
