If anyone is interested, this delightful Michael Palin film set in Southwold in the 1950s about two families on holiday is on BBC Four next Wednesday at 22-00.
I saw it some years ago and have often thought I would like to see it again, especially as it was before we had been to Southwold much, if at all.

I saw it last night... all the more poignant since his wife (who he met on 'this' holiday) died only a few days ago.
