A buddy of mine used a white plastic flower trough from Dobies and made a facing in teak ply to slot in the top for the instruments.

I made one from soffit plastic which has a 90 degree lip making it ideal for my purpose. Of course there are many different profiles, I am sure something would suit.

Go to the on line component suppliers (RS, CPC, Farnell) and look under "enclosures" for something with a suitable IP rating (IP54 or higher). Don't forget the right size glands as well.
