Where are you based and how much?

Its a Swift 18 the boat was built in the 80s and from researching it was designed that the outboard was protected by the boats built in skeg without tilting the engine. The outboards originally specs for the boat had a shorter leg than any modern outboards available

When the boat was built it was designed for a short shaft engine which were specced around 5inches shorter than modern SS outboards. There is a skeg that protects the outboard leg when taking the ground so the skeg on the boat and outbaord need to be inline.

Hi Need to extended the height of my outboard pad that is premoulded into the hull on my trailer sailer. What would be a good material to bolt onto the existing bracket. The dimensions of the material needed is 300mm x 300mm around 25-40mm thick.

Can't recommend Amarda Sails at Yacht haven quay enough just had my new to me trailer sailer sails laundered with them also had previous canvas work repairs carried out by them. Great business for South West sails and canvas.

How is the length of chain decided in a mixed anchor rode. Currently fitting out a small trailer sailer and there are various suggestions to the length of the chain. The boat is a Swift 18.

How easy is the mast to raise and lower on the L17s?

Looking at lifting keels in the 17ft range there doesn't seem to be many that fit this?

How easy are they to launch and recover as a trailer sailer?
