Can any one offer advice on main sheet travelers, I have a Colvic 26 sailer
she has no main traveler just a fixed piont at the stern, firstly is there any advantage in not having a traveler for the main and if not would a simple fixed rail as far aft as poss suffice.

Thanks for your reply but last night I ground down a 11mm spanner and promplty
snapped the head of the bolt, still at least I got the pump off.

I can recomend the Colvic sailer 26 mine is a fin keel but I believe most have twin , she is a very stable boat that has helped me through a steep learning curve.

Hi Folk could any of you experts please help, I am having dificulty removing my jabsco seawater pump the tread size is between 10mm & 11 mm or 3/8 & 7/16,(what spanner to use)
also how do you remove the impeller in situ .

I have just used Compass with great results, and am planning to use them in the near future for a inflatable and engine combination.

I would be gratefull if anyone could help. The linning in my colvic is looking worse for wear,I can,t face recovering (to many other priorities) how about some sort of fabric paint ? any Ideas would be welcome.
